At my job this past Friday, we had our monthly staff meeting.  As I sat in the meeting, I looked around at my co-workers.  And then, I started doodling on the agenda for the meeting and wrote the haiku above.  Later, I felt the comic below was just right for what I think of staff meetings.

The Qutub Minar is a famous minaret in India. According to Wikipedia, minarets are often part of Islamic mosques and provide “a focal point and are used for the call to prayer.” The Qutub Minar prompt inspired me to say my two cents about current events. With all that has happened here in the United States this past week and the anniversaries of so many sad events in the history of the United States this week, please remember to pray in your own way. For Boston. For Texas. For Virginia Tech. For Columbine. For Oklahoma. I was also reminded that tragedy happens in other places in the world every day. Please, pray for the World!
